Job summary

Marsh RE (formerly Guy Carpenter) invites applications for a Reinsurance Technician (XOL/Pro Rata) in Witham. This hybrid role requires three days per week in the office, with some flexible or part-time consideration.

You will support client accounts, manage premiums and claims, and work with Market Fiduciary on fund collection. Experience in reinsurance or insurance is valued; strong Excel and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience
• Competent Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical accounts
• Proven ability to manage workload and expectations

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned client portfolio and handle client accounts, premiums and claims
• Coordinate with Market Fiduciary to assist with fund collection
• Oversee XOL post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention and e-trading tasks
• Build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets
