Description:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Claims Technician to join our Reinsurance team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office.

The team supports our client base by providing technical claims handling and broking for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims originating from the USA.

• Work with a team of experienced reinsurance professionals who will train and develop you

We will rely on you to:

• Provide technical claims handling for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims
• Collect detailed information on accounting/claims processes
• Secure reinsurer agreements and payments of claims and account balances
• Handle the settlement of funds to and from clients
• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and ideas
• Collaborate with the team on claim developments
• Participate in training sessions

What you need to have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn

• Previous claims handling experience
