The Role
The successful candidate will lead a team of specialist market leading claims adjusters in the Hiscox Reinsurance claims team dealing with claims arising out of the Reinsurance Business Unit which consists of business written in both London and Bermuda. This person will also work closely with both the Reinsurance Leadership Team and Group Claims Leadership Team.
We are looking for a high calibre claims manager possessing strong, strategic leadership skills and established technical abilities. Prior claims management in the London Market and technical reinsurance knowledge is a prerequisite. Sound commercial and intellectual skills are also required to lead and direct a broad range of technical and legal challenges; specifically, the candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage complex technical and legal issues and be able to make sound decisions and/or report to very senior management within Hiscox.
