As a part of our continued growth, and in line with the principle of being born digital, Lockton Re’s Analytics team are currently looking for an experienced actuarial professional to join our already well-established London team.

Role Description

• Join a collegiate Analytics team covering multiple lines of business, including Property, Marine and Energy, Casualty, Cyber, Terror and PV, Credit and Political Risk, Contingency and Aviation.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams - comprising brokers, actuaries, catastrophe modellers and other professionals - to provide high quality advice to clients.
• Advise clients on their inwards portfolio risks and on potential reinsurance strategies to achieve their financial and risk mitigation objectives.
• Use actuarial analysis and commercial experience to inform benchmark reinsurance pricing and to structure and evaluate complex reinsurance and retrocession programmes.
• Communicate very effectively and tailor content to suit audiences with varying levels of knowledge.
• Engage in analytical discussions with reinsurers to support reinsurance placement.
• Develop relationships with brokers, clients and reinsurers.
• Assist projects to improve processes and develop new tools and innovative analyses.
• Check the work of other team members.
