Internal Sales Team Lead
Salary £30-33k depending on experience + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + life insurance + tonnes of other benefits!

PURPOSE

As the Internal Sales Team Lead in Haydock, you will oversee a team of sales executives based in customer offices (Speedy). Your role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and strengthening client relationships. You will lead and support your team, monitoring their performance and providing strategic direction to help achieve sales targets.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and mentor a team of internal sales representatives, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the customer.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets and create action plans to achieve them.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and that they view Algeco as a trusted partner.

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, leveraging market research and industry knowledge.

Sales Process Optimisation:

  • Streamline internal sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity, ensuring timely response to client inquiries and requests.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Recommend adjustments to strategies and tactics based on performance data.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including operations and marketing, to align efforts and maximise customer satisfaction.
