An established industry player in physical therapy is seeking passionate individuals for a Rehabilitation Aide position. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a thriving clinic while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives. You will assist the therapy team, learn the ins and outs of clinic operations, and contribute to a positive environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction. If you're a college student or recent graduate looking to take the next step toward a rewarding career in physical therapy, this position could be the perfect fit for you.
Are you a college student, recent college graduate, or just someone looking for an awarding career in physical therapy? Well, then I may have the right position for you.
Hi, my name is Jordan Black, owner of Tristar Physical Therapy. I remember so vividly being in your position… do I apply to Physical Therapy School? What about OT? Maybe I should become an Athletic Trainer! How about taking a year off and figuring things out?
Once I made the decision to apply to PT school, my mind started to race some more… what are the requirements to get in? Do I need to take the GRE? Is my GPA good enough? There are only 30 seats! Will I get accepted? That is when I also read the fine print on the applications… Observation Hours, Hours of Clinical Experience, Letter of Reference from a Physical Therapist. Hmm… I didn’t know I needed all of that.
That is where my first jobs came into play. It was a physical therapy aide… aka physical therapy tech position as some people like to call it. It was an outpatient physical therapy position… just like this one! Such a great experience… I trained and worked alongside a wonderful physical therapist, I learned all about customer service and time management, I helped keep the office organized and running smoothly, I learned medical terminology, treatment plans, and modalities. But most importantly… I learned that I wanted to become a PHYSICAL THERAPIST. I wanted to help people!
Fast forward to now… I now own and operate a very successful physical therapy clinic here in Newport. Over the past couple of years, we have been able to help 1000s of local residents. The key metrics we pride ourselves on are not volume, the number of new patients, or gross revenue, but our customer satisfaction and staff retention rates. Most of our staff has been with us for 3+ years after hire, and the ones that do leave typically are the ones who move out of the area. And for that, we are blessed to have such a great team here at Tristar.
I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and have a discussion with someone of your caliber. We are looking for an individual who can:
If this sounds like something that you might be interested in, then submit your application and we can set up a call or time to meet.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Jordan Black, PT, DPT
