Job summary

Wight Healthcare in Petersfield & Bordon is seeking professionals with experience in Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy to join our community rehabilitation teams.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation, and support personalised rehabilitation programmes for patients with a range of functional needs. Access to CPD, supervision, peer support groups and appraisals are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• Clinical assessment and reasoning skills required.
• Proficient IT skills expected.

Job description

With the development of our therapy services, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people with experience in Occupational Therapy and or Physiotherapy to join our dynamic community rehabilitation teams at Petersfield & Bordon.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation. You will use your skills and experience to support the provision of individualised rehabilitation programmes to patients with a range of functional and rehabilitative needs.

The post holder will assume responsibility for delegated aspects of healthcare delivery, working within a scope of practice under the direction/supervision of a registered practitioner.

You will have a clear understanding of patients with long term conditions and should be able to demonstrate a level of clinical assessment and reasoning. Previous case holding experience and group work is desirable.

You will need to be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to be confident and assertive with excellent personal skills and have the ability to demonstrate these in a pressurised environment. The successful applicant will need to have proficient IT skills.

Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license is essential.
