Overview

We are currently looking for a rehabilitation assistant to join the Stroke Therapy team within Therapy and Rehabilitation Services at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Central London.

We are looking for people with initiative, organisational abilities and a mature approach who can work under the supervision of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. You must be enthusiastic about assisting people of differing abilities and willing to help patients undertake a range of practical aspects of personal and daily life. You need to have a flexible approach and be able to adapt to different work areas.

This post offers the postholder the opportunity to work across a number of service areas: stroke, neuro-rehabilitation, acute neuro-medical and neuro-surgery. The post holder will move across these areas to support the demand in each team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with practical aspects of personal and daily life as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Work across service areas (stroke, neuro-rehabilitation, acute neuro-medical and neuro-surgery) to support demand in each team.
