Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to be part of the Waltham Forest Rehabilitation Service. The Waltham Forest Rehabilitation Service is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and Rehabilitation Practitioners. The team provides short term intensive rehabilitation to patients in their own homes following a period of illness or injury. You will have support from and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred rehabilitation programmes.

  • Provide patient-centred rehabilitation programmes in patients\' homes as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and Rehabilitation Practitioners.
  • Work with the therapy staff to promote independence and improve function for people recently discharged from hospital.

  • Probationary Period: This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
  • Induction: New starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training and systems training.
  • High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London: 15% of basic salary, with a minimum of £4,551 and maximum of £5,735, pro rata for part-time staff.
