Meadow View Neurological Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire, is seeking a Rehab Assistant to support adults with complex neurological conditions to improve independence and quality of life. You will blend care, therapy support and companionship, working within a multidisciplinary team to follow individual rehabilitation plans and help residents achieve personal goals.

The role offers day/night/mixed shifts, paid DBS, pension and uniform, 28 days leave (pro rata for part-time), workplace pension,

Responsabilidades

• Support adults with complex neurological conditions to achieve greater independence and progress toward individual goals.
• Combine care, therapy support and companionship, getting to know each person and understanding what matters to them.
• Work closely with residents, their families and the multidisciplinary team, following individual care and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide personal care where required and assist with daily living skills while encouraging participation in activities and therapy sessions.
• Offer social and emotional support to residents to encourage engagement in rehabilitation and daily routines.

About Meadow View Neurological Centre

Meadow View Neurological Centre is a purpose-built specialist neurological care and rehabilitation centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our experienced team provides personalised care and rehabilitation for adults with complex neurological conditions and injuries, supporting people to achieve greater independence and quality of life. With modern facilities, dedicated therapy spaces and a welcoming environment, colleagues have the opportunity to work as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference every day.

Rehab Assistant Contract

• £27357.68 per annum


• 39.375 hours per week


• [Day / Night / Mixed Shifts]


• Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided


• 28 days annual leave (pro rata for part time), inclusive of Bank Holidays

Role Overview

As a Rehab Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting adults with complex neurological conditions and injuries to achieve greater independence and make progress towards their individual goals.

This is more than a traditional care role. You will combine care, therapy support and companionship, getting to know each person and understanding what matters to them. You will support individuals in the way that works best for them, encouraging their abilities and helping them develop confidence and independence.

You will work closely with residents, their families and the wider multidisciplinary team, following individual care and rehabilitation plans. Your day-to-day role may include supporting personal care where required, assisting with daily living skills, encouraging participation in activities, supporting therapy sessions and providing social and emotional support.

You will encourage people to take an active role in their rehabilitation and everyday routines, helping them work towards their personal goals while providing the practical support they need.

Every person will have different needs and goals, making this a varied role where you can develop your skills and make a genuine difference to someone's quality of life.
