Regulatory Change IT Developer – Power & Gas

London | Hybrid

Join a fast-paced regulatory IT team working at the forefront of transaction reporting in global energy markets. We're looking for a Regulatory Change IT Developer to take ownership of major change initiatives across Gas and Power trading – think EMIR Refit, MiFID II.

This is a hands-on technical role, with 80–90% of your time focused on regulatory change. You’ll work side-by-side with Business Analysts and QA, driving development in Oracle SQL and C# and helping deliver production-ready reporting solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing Oracle SQL / C# solutions for reg change projects
  • Supporting data mapping, lineage analysis, and issue resolution
  • Working with platforms like UnaVista and DTCC
  • Interpreting regulatory requirements and delivering system changes
  • Collaborating daily with BAs, QA, and wider compliance functions

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with regulatory reporting (EMIR, MiFID, MAS, etc.)
  • Strong Oracle SQL and C# development skills
  • Knowledge of Gas & Power trading products
  • Familiarity with transaction reporting flows (UTIs, eligibility, submissions)
