Job description

Regulatory Solicitor / Barrister (Police Team), NQ-3 Years PQE, Suffolk/Remote – New opportunity to join an impressive team. JOB REF: 9762.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, preparing compelling cases, and advocating in court to ensure the safety of individuals and communities.
• You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse and impactful range of cases, including Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Sexual Risk Orders and Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions
• Work closely with law enforcement officers and other professionals in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ensure that all legal processes comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Travel between courts will be required.

SKILLS REQUIRED
• Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in criminal or civil law.
• Proven expertise in handling protective orders or similar civil applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong advocacy skills
