Executive Network Legal Limited is seeking a Head of Regulatory in Birmingham for a national law firm. The role will lead the regulatory practice, set strategy, and drive growth across the firm’s national network.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse regulatory caseload, win new business, and develop relationships with clients and contacts across the market while helping recruit and shape the team.

• A strong background in regulatory law and the ability to advise on complex regulatory matters.
• Established client following and demonstrable market contacts are essential.
• Proven ability to generate work and develop long-term client relationships.
• Commercial acumen and strategic vision to grow a practice.
• Credibility and leadership to develop a team and operate at partnership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regulatory practice in Birmingham, setting the strategy for future growth.
• Manage a varied regulatory caseload, advising clients on complex and commercially sensitive matters.
• Develop new business opportunities and build on an established network of client and professional contacts.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the firm's offering.
• Work collaboratively with other practice areas to generate cross-referrals and develop wider client relationships.
• Build the profile of the team within the Birmingham market and across the firm's national network.
• Play an active role in the development of the wider practice, including future recruitment and team growth.
