A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a dedicated Solicitor Advocate or Barrister to join its Police Team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and impactful cases while providing the flexibility of remote working, with regular court attendance required in Brighton and surrounding areas.
The Role:
You'll be joining one of the largest Regulatory departments in the country with a stellar reputation for providing expert legal advice across a broad range of sectors, including health, the public sector, corporations, and individuals.
This role is predominantly advocacy-based, requiring regular attendance at Magistrates' courts in Sussex.
While Brighton is a key location, hearings may also be scheduled in Surrey and sometimes further afield.
Your role will be to manage a caseload of approximately 100 civil protective order applications in the Magistrates' Court, including Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Sexual Risk Orders, Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions, and Closure Orders.
