Job description

Tremendous opportunity for a Regulatory / Transport Law Newly Qualified Solicitor to join this high-calibre practice and work for a boutique firm that is a sector leader with an exceptional client base. Key benefits of this role include:

  1. Exceptional Client Base
  2. Outstanding Reputation
  3. Genuine Progression Opportunities
  4. Significant Hybrid Working
  5. Unlimited Holidays

This practice is seeking an NQ Solicitor to work alongside a Legal 500 listed Partner. Ideally, you will have gained experience in Regulatory work during your training contract or as a Paralegal.

The main purpose of this role is to manage a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters. You should be open to handling public inquiries, DVSA investigations, traffic commissioner hearings, planning and environmental issues, heavy haulage work, international carriage of goods, and defending various prosecutions against the haulage industry.

Although small, this boutique practice's client base is second to none, involving work that rivals top-tier city law firms. You will advise and represent commercial clients, including FTSE 100/250 companies. Business development is not a focus here due to the firm’s reputation; the primary goal is to fee earn and deliver excellent service to clients.

The firm offers opportunities for progression, company-wide bonuses, unlimited annual leave, hybrid working requiring only 1-2 days in the office per week, and 1-2-1 training from Legal 500 / Chambers ranked industry-leading partners.
