Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance.
• Experience in banking/financial services sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certification such as CIA, CPA, CAMS, CRCM (or actively pursued).
• Strong analytical skills with data analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional remediation.
• High integrity, independence, and professional skepticism.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk-based internal audits and strategy.
• Oversee evaluation of governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance, financial reporting, and operational processes.
• Present independent reports to the UK Board, Audit Committee, and senior leadership.
• Engage with partners and regulators; prepare audit evidence.
• Communicate complex risks to senior stakeholders, including regulators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into durable remediation plans.
• Invest in understanding the business to identify areas of need.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
