Job summary

Land & Sea Resources is seeking an Information & Samples Coordinator in Barrow-in-Furness to ensure regulatory compliance for subsurface, wells and decommissioning data, as well as samples and records. You will manage data submissions to NSTA and NDR, coordinate GIS needs, and supervise data retention and disposal.

You will work with Wells, Decommissioning, Legal, IS/IM and UKCS Licensing teams to deliver accurate information on time under Energy Act guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with subsurface data and wells or decommissioning data.
• Familiar with regulatory data and compliance in energy.
• Understanding of Energy Act regulations and guidelines.
• Experience with NDR submission formats and data systems.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact with the NSTA Data Compliance team.
• Coordinate and deliver timely NSTA data submissions.
• Manage Missing Data Requests and Section 34 Notices.
• Coordinate legacy and decommissioning data submission plans.
• Oversee submission of digital data to the National Data Repository.
• Manage physical samples and archives, retention and disposal.
• Support statutory reporting to the British Geological Survey.
• Produce and monitor Information & Samples Plans (ISP).
• Coordinate GIS and mapping requirements.
• Support data availability for subsurface and wells teams.
• Ensure data retention and end-of-life disposal processes.
