Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Regulatory Data Team Leader to guide a cross-functional team in delivering regulatory reporting software. The role focuses on compliance-driven data engineering, cloud-first architectures, and high-throughput batch reporting with SOAP/REST integrations.

You will drive governance, collaboration with Finance and Compliance, and the adoption of AI tools to improve workflows in a fast-paced gambling tech environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with GCP and BigQuery across cloud architectures.
• Experience applying AI tools to optimize workflows and projects.
• Proven ability to lead a geographically distributed software delivery team.
• Experience in regulatory or commercial gambling environments is valuable.
• Commercial database development with SQL Server/T-SQL and BigQuery knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional data engineering team to deliver regulatory reporting software solutions.
• Oversee high-throughput, database-centric distributed applications and integrate with SOAP/REST APIs.
• Ensure governance and design standards meet regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance and Compliance to prioritize work and manage dependencies.
• Mentor and coach team members, drive AI adoption to enhance workflows.
• Provide status updates and escalate risks to ensure on-time delivery.
