Job summary

Revolut Ltd is seeking a regulatory legal counsel with extensive experience in financial regulations to advise on credit compliance and trade finance matters. You will draft core agreements, assess legal risks, and support risk teams across markets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years PQE in finance or trade finance
• In-house or private practice advising on trade finance/supply chain finance
• Experience drafting documentation regulated by English law
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials
• Strong judgement, composure under pressure, collaborative mindset
• Experience advising on a range of trade finance products and securitisation transactions
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal advisor for design and structuring of trade finance products
• Draft, maintain and update core trade finance agreements and templates under English law
• Advise business and risk teams on legal risks in trade finance and securitisation across markets
• Own and manage the legal work stream for trade finance features
• Structure, negotiate and advise on legal documentation for funding partners and risk distribution

About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We're looking for a Regulatory Legal Counsel with expertise in financial regulations to advise on credit compliance and relevant legal issues.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as the primary legal advisor for the design and structuring of trade finance products, including receivables and payables solutions
• Drafting, maintaining, and updating the core suite of trade finance template legal agreements and standard documentation regulated by English law
• Advising business and risk teams on legal risks and enforcement considerations inherent to trade finance structures and securitisation transactions across markets
• Managing and owning the legal work stream for trade finance features
• Structuring, negotiating, and advising on legal documentation for funding partners and risk distribution

What you'll need

• 6+ years of PQE
• Experience either in-house or in private practice advising on trade finance/supply chain finance
• Expertise in drafting documentation regulated by English law
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence in making decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
• Broad-based credit knowledge, including experience advising clients or internal stakeholders on a variety of trade finance products and securitisation transactions
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
