A global financial services firm is seeking an experienced regulatory lawyer. The role involves advising on regulatory changes, assisting with contentious investigations, and working with senior stakeholders. Strong regulatory experience and qualifications are required. My client is a global financial services firm looking to hire an experienced regulatory lawyer from either a contentious or non-contentious background.
The role will see you advising the business on existing and upcoming regulatory change, assisting on any contentious investigations and assist on external lobbying.
The successful candidate will: advise the business on current and upcoming regulatory changes; assist on contentious investigations; support external lobbying efforts; work with senior stakeholders to provide practical regulatory solutions; contribute to projects related to the regulatory landscape affecting the UK and EU.
Required: demonstrable regulatory experience from either in-house or private practice; ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide practical solutions; qualified in England & Wales or from a common law equivalent; ideally with extensive trading exposure.
The role covers regulatory activity across the UK and EU, with global operations across nearly 30 countries. The team maintains a strong relationship with the business and is a collaborative environment.
