Job Description:
Description: We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team. The role involves ensuring program operations and processes comply with relevant laws, standards, and regulations, with a strong understanding of federal laws, compliance management, and expertise in ITAR/FAR/DFARs regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Federal Contracts and Grants Compliance Program.
- Develop a comprehensive library of applicable laws and regulations.
- Establish a formalized regulatory compliance change management process, including impact assessments, policy review, communication, implementation, and monitoring.
- Identify, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Leverage tools such as Microsoft Purview to align privacy and data protection practices.
- Improve privacy and data protection controls for regulated data.
- Oversee operations related to handling and safeguarding sensitive information.
- Develop educational materials, training plans, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with teams to monitor risk areas.
- Assist in developing compliance policies and procedures.
- Support audits for certifications.
- Prioritize projects, develop budgets, select tools, and plan staffing.
- Identify new privacy laws and establish program recommendations.
- Support metrics and content for Privacy Information Management System meetings.
- Support Data Loss Prevention programs and investigations.
- Identify applicable privacy and compliance laws.
- Assist in developing training materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
Required Qualifications & Education:
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
- Law firm experience.
- Industry certifications such as CCEP, CIPP, or CIPT.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Moderate to advanced keyboard use.
