The Regulatory Compliance Manager works as part of a small team supporting the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to deliver regulatory compliance activities across E.ON Next. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business playing a key part in shaping a culture of trust and transparency, developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role may focus on consumer protections, environmental and social schemes, commercial areas and/or industry codes.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

    Provide thoughtful and accessible interpretation of key regulations (such as Ofgem supplier licence conditions, GDPR, Ofcom and ASA, CAP & BCAP advertising codes). Build positive relationships with key external stakeholders including Ofgem, DESNZ, and Citizens Advice. Support the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager with the drafting of formal and informal regulatory responses to consultations, requests for information and compliance engagement from Ofgem and other industry stakeholders such as DESNZ, Energy UK, Citizens Advice and the ASA, ensuring they reflect our voice and values. Help build awareness of regulatory topics amongst colleagues through collaboration, education, and shared understanding. Partner with colleagues to explore risks and develop meaningful, people-focussed solutions. Working alongside the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to analyse regulatory change and identify its impact on the business. Championing a positive compliance culture by being a trusted voice and problem-solving partner across the organisation. Analyse the business impact of regulatory change initiatives and propose recommendations that align with the E.ON Next strategy. Work collaboratively across the Chief of Staff team.

It would be great if you had:

    Experience in or familiarity with retail energy, compliance, regulation or policy. Knowledge of key stakeholders such as Ofgem, DESNZ, Energy UK or Citizens Advice. Exposure to compliance areas like data privacy, advertising standards, or consumer rights. A curious and open mindset with a love of learning and sharing knowledge. A proactive approach to teamwork—willing to lend a hand, ask questions and offer ideas. Confidence in using data or evidence to inform decisions and recommendations. Comfort working across departments, balancing multiple priorities thoughtfully. A passion for doing work that has a positive, real-world impact
