Job summary

Infused Solutions in London is seeking a Lead Specialist – Compliance & Regulation to join its regulatory team. You will provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements across qualification design, development, delivery and awarding, and lead responses to regulatory requests.

The role is hybrid, with about 2 days in the London office and the majority of duties conducted remotely; a chance to influence compliance across a large organisation and engage with regulators and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory and policy landscape for qualifications.
• Deep understanding of Ofqual General Conditions of Recognition.
• Experience in an awarding organisation, regulator or similar regulated environment.
• Knowledge of international and computer-based/onscreen assessments.
• Understanding of assessment methodology and validity.
• Experience within English Language assessment market advantageous.
• Experience collaborating to improve compliance and regulatory processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience with senior-level stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory documentation and communicate it clearly to others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience identifying risks and developing practical improvement plans.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Lead responses to regulatory requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify regulatory risks, trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead regulatory compliance reviews and deep dives with cross-functional teams.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide updates to senior management on regulatory matters and risks.
• Maintain records of regulatory correspondence and identify themes.
• Lead appeals processes and contribute to self-assessment activity.
• Deliver training and guidance on regulatory requirements and changes.
• Respond to queries on regulatory interpretation and application.
• Support bids by identifying regulatory risks.
• Build relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation at external meetings and industry forums.
• Contribute to responses to regulatory consultations and policy developments.
