Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Lead to design, implement, and maintain our company-wide governance framework for statutory and regulatory compliance. In this high-visibility role you will safeguard operations and oversee licensing frameworks, engaging with regulators as needed.

You will develop a robust approach to monitoring, reporting, and enforcement actions, while collaborating with the Regulatory Lawyer and stakeholders to ensure timely action on regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a compliance framework to oversee overall compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks, including industry-specific regs such as Ofwat and environmental legislation.
• Support Licence compliance management, coordinating responses to modifications and changes.
• Provide programme management of the delivery of enforcement actions.
• Supervise compliance regarding relevant charging rules.
• Establish, manage, and monitor reporting on undertakings, driving internal meetings to guarantee actions progress against milestones.
• Support the administration of all operations related to the external monitor and compile all necessary performance documentation.
