Job description

Our client is a leading firm within the innovative RegTech sector, creating cutting-edge business software to make it as easy as possible for banks, brokers and investment firms to comply with regulation. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your regulatory knowledge and skills while working in a fast-growing technology company serving the financial services compliance market.

What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Change Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance. Your excellent research skills will be put to use in undertaking key research projects that support the international strategy. You will also ensure that the Regulatory Updates Management system is always up-to-date with changes to regulations. Additionally, you will assist colleagues in understanding matters of regulatory compliance and review and advise on collateral related to these matters.

  • Ensure the Regulatory Updates Management system remains up to date with changes to regulations
  • Develop understanding of international regulatory developments
  • Undertake key research projects to support the international strategy
  • Undertake administrative duties for the R&C team such as follow up on risk issues, monthly reporting, posting TLS content to third party sites
  • Undertake and maintain ongoing surveillance of our client base
  • Assist colleagues in learning and understanding matters of regulatory compliance
  • Review and advise on our collateral in relation to matters of regulatory compliance (working with marketing team to draft key email messages)
What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regulatory Change Analyst position brings 3+ years' experience in a regulatory compliance or related consultancy role. Your financial services regulatory knowledge will be critical in this role, along with your ability to stay updated with regulatory developments. Your excellent organisational and planning skills will help you manage various responsibilities effectively. Furthermore, your excellent writing skills will be essential when drafting key email messages.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a regulatory compliance or related consultancy role
  • Financial Services regulatory knowledge is critical
  • Good working knowledge of the FCA and PRA handbooks
  • Knowledge of regulations in several additional jurisdictions would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus upon accuracy
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with regulatory developments
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Confident Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven comfort with advanced business software systems
