Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking an interim Associate (Casework) to join a National Regulatory Body. The role is hybrid with in-person work in London or Birmingham as needed. Salary is £32,000 per annum on a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension.

Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, with responsibilities across case management, licensing, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will manage varied caseloads, assess licensing applications, and provide evidence-based

Qualifications

• Experience managing a varied caseload within regulatory, legal, investigative, licensing, complaints or similarly structured environment.
• Strong analytical ability to assess complex information and support decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of customer enquiries, complaints, disputes and licensing applications.
• Lead the resolution of customer disputes, enquiries and complaints in line with processes and governance requirements.
• Assess licensing applications and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Gather, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources to support decisions.
• Present clear conclusions and recommendations in writing and verbally.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand issues and provide timely responses.
• Handle difficult conversations with customers and stakeholders professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to progress cases thoroughly.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks where appropriate.
• Manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and wider issues affecting the organisation.
• Support the team through changing workloads and priorities.
