Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or working towards a relevant professional qualification.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, prudential capital or a similar financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of EBA and PRA frameworks including CRR3 and Basel 3.1.
• Experience with COREP reporting, Pillar 3 disclosures and prudential capital calculations.
• Good understanding of balance sheets and income statements and their regulatory impact.
• Strong Excel, analytical, data manipulation and reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail, technical judgement and governance mindset.
• Ability to communicate regulatory requirements to Finance, Risk and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly and quarterly prudential capital calculations (credit risk, large exposures, leverage, operational risk).
• Prepare, review and submit COREP regulatory returns per EBA and PRA rules and deadlines.
• Support Pillar 3 disclosures preparation and reconciliation.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate into calculation methods and controls.
• Produce regular reporting packs and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Perform data validation, reconciliations and variance analysis across source systems.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Regulatory IT and Data teams to resolve data quality issues.
• Maintain procedures, calculation documentation and supporting evidence.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes while ensuring governance.
