The Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an individual with a strong commitment to affordable housing to join our Regulatory Assurance Team as a Regulatory Assurance and Service Improvement Manager.
This is an exciting time to join the Council’s Housing and Regeneration Department, having recently undergone inspection from the Regulator of Social Housing. The post-holder will play a key role in helping us deliver our "Your Voice, Our Action" regulatory Improvement Plan.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating in Regulatory environments, be data-driven and analytical, with strong knowledge of the Social Housing Sector. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Assurance within the Strategy, Policy and Regulatory Assurance division, this leadership role heads our business development team, oversees the Tenant Scrutiny Panel, and supports the directorate with business change, policy, and service improvement. The role also involves improving data across the service and translating insights into action.
Knowledge of best practices in Social Housing, understanding of the RSH Consumer Standards, and familiarity with Tenant Satisfaction Measures and regulatory returns are essential.
This role will support the delivery of genuine co-regulation and excellent housing services for residents. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join this team.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
