We’re recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist.

Based at our UK headquarters in Market Drayton, Shropshire, the role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days on site. Reporting to the UK Regulatory Affairs lead within the Legal and Compliance team, you will ensure regulatory compliance of all marketing materials, including advertising, claims, and packaging. You will handle regulatory inquiries, provide support and updates, and be the expert on food labelling matters. This role is ideal for a graduate with a keen interest in food law.

Key responsibilities:

• Approval of marketing materials, product packaging, artwork, and labelling for branded products.
• Approval of advertising materials under the direction of the Head of Regulatory Affairs.
• Providing advice on food labelling, standards, and safety issues.
• Supporting training sessions and workshops.
• Supporting communication and consumer care teams with regulatory matters.
• Ensuring products are labelled in accordance with customer requirements and policies.
• Supporting food safety initiatives with quality and operations teams.
• Managing raw material sign-off processes.
• Providing regulatory support and training to colleagues.

Required skills and experience:

• Relevant food science or food law qualifications or experience.
• Keen interest in food regulation.
• Commercial awareness of the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Friendly, approachable, and flexible team player.
• Proactive, positive attitude with a "can do" approach.
