Role Overview

Position: Regulatory Affairs Manager - Nutraceuticals

Location: Runcorn

Salary & Benefits: £50-55,000 per annum, Company Pension (5% Employer, 4% minimum employee), 25 days holidays plus bank holidays (increase with service), life assurance, cycle to work scheme, discretionary bonus, parking, early finish on Friday.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure products are legally compliant and meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Assess new materials and components for regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and lead a small team, overseeing departmental growth.
  • Risk assess new legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Participate in Procedure Qualification Reports.
  • Manage license and variation processes.
  • Maintain supplier documentation.
  • Engage with customers regarding regulatory issues and opportunities.
  • Represent the company in regulatory meetings and industry groups.
  • Serve as the main regulatory contact for the business.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in a Science-based subject or equivalent.
  • Experience in a regulatory role, ideally within nutraceuticals, food, pharma, or medical devices.
  • Line management experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
