Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs professional to shape regulatory strategy for cross-border mobile connectivity. You will provide expert regulatory advice, manage multi-stakeholder engagement, and ensure compliance across products and markets.

Role requires deep understanding of end-user mobile telecom regulation, independent decision-making, and strong communication with legal, product, and external regulators.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in mobile telecom regulation at end-user level.
• Able to work independently and exercise judgement on complex regulatory questions.
• Excellent written communication for senior stakeholders, legal teams, and regulators.
• Strong stakeholder management across legal, product, technology, commercial and external affairs teams.
• Delivery-focused mindset: translate regulatory analysis into decisions and actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-user level mobile telecom regulatory analysis for assigned products, services and markets, including customer obligations, numbering, access, consumer protection, resilience and launch readiness.
• Lead regulatory assessments for new or changed mobile connectivity propositions, translating requirements into actions.
• Manage engagement with internal stakeholders and external regulators; prepare briefings, submissions, position papers and recommendations.
• Identify and escalate material regulatory risks early, including cross-border and multi-market issues; propose mitigations and track follow-through.
• Maintain a high-quality regulatory knowledge base for mobile telecom rules and policy developments relevant to External Affairs, Vodafone Business and platform activities.
• Ownership and responsibility for compliance.
