  • Work at the forefront of energy sector developments, contributing to projects driving the UK's net-zero goals, including offshore wind, hydrogen, and CCUS initiatives.
  • Represent clients in matters before regulatory bodies, the Competition and Markets Authority, and the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
  • Offer strategic guidance on subsidy control, public procurement, and foreign direct investment (FDI) regulations.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver concise, solutions-focused advice tailored to clients' needs.
  • Lead complex legal matters with support from senior colleagues.
  • Build strong client relationships, understanding their business goals and market pressures.
  • Develop expertise across energy regulation and related legal areas.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing and contribute to the team's inclusive culture.
  • Your Skills and Experience:

  • PQE: 4-8 years with experience in energy regulation, competition law, subsidy control or public law.
  • Strong legal research skills and the ability to handle diverse challenges.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A client-focused mindset, coupled with problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • What We're Looking For:

  • A motivated individual eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Someone who values diversity and is committed to inclusion.
  • What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters shaping the UK's regulatory landscape.
  • Clear, structured and supported career progression
  • Exposure to high-profile clients and significant projects.
  • A supportive team culture with a focus on professional development.
  • The chance to contribute to the UK's energy transition and decarbonisation efforts.
  • A lucrative package made up of a strong salary, bonus scheme and comprehensive complement of benefits
