Job description

Imperial’s Regular Giving and Legacy team is seeking a coordinator to support their fundraising programme. Are you interested in a varied and interesting role within a high performing team at a university which is not only world leading, but also world changing? Are you a talented administrator looking to get started in fundraising? Then this could be the role for you.

For this role you will need to demonstrate outstanding organisational skills, be process-led and have excellent communications skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals.

What you would be doing

Imperial’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving programme raises funds to advance the work of the University. The programme focuses on using direct marketing such as direct mail, email and telephone campaigns to solicit support from alumni through regular donations, mid value gifts and gifts in wills. The team coordinator is the lynchpin of the programme and supports the team in all aspects of direct marketing fundraising and administration.

What we are looking for

In order to hit the ground running, you will need to possess the following required skills:

  • Experience of working in a customer, alumni or donor focused environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage a varied workload and a process led approach.
  • Outstanding communications (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, at all levels.
  • A proven track record of outstanding attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
  • A sound understanding of customer relations databases (CRM) to manage customer/donor data.
