Lancashire County Council is seeking a Registration Officer – Ceremonies to support the Registration Service in Preston. The role involves registering or conducting statutory ceremonies at offices or approved venues, with hours calculated on annualised pro rata terms.
The position is part-time with 520 annualised hours and a pro-rata salary of £25,989–£28,142. Training will be provided to ensure compliance with the required legal framework.

These roles are annualised contracts, meaning you will work your hours over the year, for example 416 or 520 etc., but the hours you work each week will vary depending on demand. The annual salary will be pro-rata. Work patterns are agreed in advance in accordance with the needs of the service but caveat that there may be occasions when the officer is required to work outside of this pattern. You will be asked to provide your availability 2 months in advance so that the rota of our ceremony programme can be put together, and you can see when you will be working.
