Job description

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK’s largest veterinary retailers based in Waterlooville.

The role is offering a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 per annum.

Hours:An average of 40hrs a week (4x weekdays, finishing at 19:00pm, and 1 in 3 Saturdays finishing at 18:00pm). No OOH and no on call.

We value the team’s work and home life balance so offer;

• 1 weekday off per week.
• The full years rota planned in advance.
• Currently closed on Sundays (with no plans to reopen Sundays).
• Vast majority of lunch hours and work day finished on time.

The team:You will be joining a team consisting of 2 full time vets, 4 RVNs, 1 VCA, 1 practice manager/practice owner and 4 receptionists

• Salary £60,000 – £65,000, depending on experience.
• £3,000 signing-on bonus. (Non-agency only).

What we’re looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
• Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.

• Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
