Overview

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a permanent Registered Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Feltham.

The role offers a salary of up to £60,000 per annum.

Working Hours: This role can be either full or part time, between 20-40 hours per week with a share of weekends (currently 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am-4pm, with time off in the week to compensate).

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality veterinary care in line with best practices and medical regulations.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, SVN, VCA and 5 Receptionists.
  • Support the delivery of veterinary services within the practice setting.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
  • Membership/registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
  • Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
