A veterinary practice in England is seeking an OOH RVN to join their friendly team. This weekend-only role involves delivering high-quality emergency care and supporting a strong veterinary team. Successful candidates will be qualified nurse registered with the RCVS, equipped with excellent communication and organisation skills. We have an exciting opportunity for an OOH RVN to join our friendly team here at MiNightVet Wokingham. MiNightVet Wokingham aims to offer exceptional patient care and a reliable emergency service to our surrounding area. We have a strong and passionate team of Vets, RVNs and ANA/PCA s. We are based out of an exceptional hospital with fantastic facilities that enable us to do our jobs to the best of our ability.
This is a weekend only role and can be just days, or a mix of weekend days and nights. There will be opportunities for overtime as well occasionally during the week. The beauty of working OOH is the work/life balance that allows you to enjoy your time off and come to your shifts feeling refreshed and renewed. To be successful you will need to be a qualified veterinary nurse registered with the RCVS. You will need to have excellent communication and organisation skills, and the confidence to deliver high quality care to all our patients and their owners.
The role involves delivering high-quality screening, assessment and care for emergency cases during out-of-hours shifts, working as part of a supportive veterinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will communicate effectively with owners and team members and uphold standards of patient care during busy periods.
Qualified veterinary nurse registered with the RCVS. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Confidence to deliver high-quality care to all patients and their owners.
