Job description

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful White Cross Vets team in Roundhay.

The Rota

This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week. There is a requirement to take part in the Saturday rota; however, we are open to discussing which weekdays work best for you, and there is no requirement for OOH.

About the Practice

At White Cross Vets, we have 21 clinics across the UK. All of our clinics have teams with different interests, with team members undergoing further training by certificates or having those that have achieved certificate status. Being part of something bigger offers a fantastic level of support on a wider group level and allows us to grow and develop a higher quality of first opinion pet care while providing internal career progression opportunities.

Our Roundhay practice is located in a beautiful suburb in North Leeds, which is home to one of the biggest parks in Europe!

We're surrounded by lovely restaurants, cafés, and delis, and we're not far from both Leeds City Centre and Harrogate. Within the practice, we have a laparoscopic spay, 5 ultrasound machines, Phovia, and dental x-ray, to name a few!

About the Team

We're a friendly team at Roundhay who love to socialise together outside of work as well as getting stuck in with our monthly wellbeing afternoons and team activities. With a range of activities such as walks, Easter egg decorating, and films with popcorn! We also have the added benefit of two neighbouring White Cross Practices, Guiseley and Eccleshill, and have the Central Support Team just 20 minutes down the road! We're also lucky enough to have a lovely set of clients, a large proportion of whom are insured and are part of our Complete Wellness Plan!
