A veterinary practice in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated RVN for a 12-month fixed-term contract. We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic RVN to work alongside our large team of Vets, Nurses, Student Nurses, Veterinary Auxiliaries and Receptionists. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC). The role will include all aspects of nursing. We are a 6 site small animal practice with two accredited hospitals. We have great transport links into Birmingham city centre and are lucky enough to have some beautiful rural areas nearby too such as Kinver, Clent Hills and the Lickey Hills. You\'ll be mainly based at our Northfield site, however there will be occasions in which you\'ll be required to cover at our other local branches.
Our ideal candidate will have varied experience in all aspects of nursing, friendly, empathetic, hardworking and personable. Have a keen eye for detail. Working between Northfield and our branch practices, you will carry out all general nursing duties to include, inpatients, theatre practice, basic laboratory tasks, consulting, patient admits and discharges, triaging patients and assisting with incoming calls. You will also assist with pricing of procedures, stock ration, ordering, supporting student nurses and new grad vets.

Ideally, we\'re looking for someone to cover a full time role by working 40 hours per week. Shifts will be varied between 07:00-19:30 Monday to Friday and 1:12 Saturday mornings.
We have ultrasound, CT, K-laser, Endoscopy and laparoscopy and dental xray which allow us to offer a wide range of services to our clients. At our hospital, we have 3-5 vets working per day and certificate holders in multiple disciplines (surgery, medicine, cardiology, exotic species, ophthalmology and ECC). As a practice, we support various local charities, and this makes up some of our caseload.
Manor Vets is built up of 24 Veterinary Surgeons, 25 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Student Veterinary Nurses, 9 Veterinary Auxiliaries, 17 Receptionists, 4 admin staff and a team of managers, each one a vital part of our team. We have certificate holders across our practices in various disciplines which allows us to keep a large and varied caseload in-house.
