Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal 12-month FTC

The Beeches Veterinary Centre is a dedicated RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice in Melksham, Wiltshire. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contact.

About Us

We take pride in providing excellence in patient and client care alike, while being part of a fun and supportive team. We aim to make full use of and develop staff skills within an open and trusting environment and to encourage education for our team members as well as clients.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be joining part of a well-established team of experienced vets, nurses and receptionist. Our nursing team consist of a head nurse, senior nurse, 3 RVNS and a student nurse. Some of our nurses hold certificates in behaviour, emergency and critical care and a diploma in feline nursing.

Our nurses are utilised in many areas, nurse clinics including second vaccination, health checks, wellness checks, nail clips. Inpatients both surgical and medical, laboratory work, performing x-rays, dental scale and polishes, and much more.

Working hours

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, with shared Saturday shifts from 8:00am to 2:00pm. There are no out-of-hours or Bank Holiday requirements, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
