We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fabulous team at Alma Veterinary Hospital. We seek a hands-on RVN competent in all aspects of nursing, dedicated to providing gold standard care to both our patients and clients.
We offer flexible working options, including part-time, full-time, night, or weekend roles (up to 39 hours/week). Our shifts vary between 07:30 - 19:30 and/or night shifts from 18:00 - 09:00 to care for our inpatients.
Located in Windsor, near attractions like Windsor Castle, Lego Land, and Thorpe Park, Alma Veterinary Hospital is in an affluent town surrounded by countryside along the Thames and Windsor Great Park. The town offers many restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance, with excellent transport links to London and proximity to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Our practice is fully equipped for a wide range of surgical and medical cases, featuring 4 consultation rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas, wards, a dedicated dental suite, imaging room, and in-house laboratory. We boast advanced equipment including laparotomy tower, radiography, ultrasound, dental radiography, Tonopen, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, orthopaedic tools, ECG, Capnography, and more. We are proud to be the only practice within a 15-mile radius offering laparoscopic surgery.
Our team comprises 7 Veterinary Surgeons and 11 nurses, including 8 RVNs and 3 students, supported by 8 staff members in administration and support roles. Many team members have long tenures at Alma, fostering a family-like environment where collaboration and support are paramount.
