Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre is an established 3-branch small animal veterinary practice with an exciting part-time opportunity for a dedicated RVN to join their Whitchurch team. The practice boasts a new, spacious, well-equipped building, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. On-site parking is available, and the location is within walking distance of the train station.

Our supportive team comprises 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 5 experienced Receptionists and administrators. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care through our team of experienced vets and nurses, including certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine, Cardiology, and ECC. We are a friendly, collaborative team that values fun, personality, and a supportive environment for skill development.

The day-to-day

As an RVN at Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre, your responsibilities will include all aspects of first opinion nursing, such as nurse clinics, monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, medication administration, radiography, and diagnostic testing, utilizing your Schedule 3 skills. While assisting in all areas, your individual nursing interests are supported and encouraged. We offer excellent career progression opportunities for all experience levels. Working pattern

This part-time role involves 24 hours per week over three days, with shift times typically between 08:30 and 18:30. The specific days are flexible according to your preferences. Additionally, there is a 1 in 7 Saturday morning rota (09:00-12:30), which is published annually and allows swaps between team members.
