Qualifications

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full or part time basis to join our friendly and supportive team at Provost Vets in St Andrews. The role would involve covering all aspects of first opinion caseloads including nurse consults ranging from weight clinics, 2nd & 3rd puppy and kitten vaccinations, pet health club checks, nails clips, etc., with scope to develop the nurse clinics further. Alongside assisting the vet on a daily basis with operations as well as performing diagnostic imaging and ward and theatre nursing duties.

Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you. Our clinic is open between 8am – 7pm, Monday to Friday and 8:30am – 5pm on a Saturday. The full-time position consists of 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with a share in 1:5 weekends and no OOH requirement. We are open to part-time applicants looking to work around their lifestyle.

Our modern, purpose-built surgery is located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine, and in-house lab. We have designated cat, dog, and isolation wards and we are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. Further certification and career progression can be supported.
