We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful White Cross Vets team in Roundhay.
In this role, you'll be involved in a wide range of general practice duties. You will assist with theatre and surgical procedures, carry out radiography and dental x-rays, and provide general nursing care. You will also be responsible for nurse consultations, managing the dispensary, and handling some administrative tasks.
White Cross Vets operates 21 clinics across the UK, each with teams that have various interests and specialisations. Our team members are encouraged to further their training through certificates, and some have achieved certificate status. Our Roundhay practice is located in a beautiful area in North Leeds, home to one of Europe's largest parks! We're surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and delis, and are just a short distance from both Leeds City Centre and Harrogate. The practice is well-equipped, featuring a laparoscopic spay, 5 ultrasound machines, Phovia, dental x-ray, and more!
Our Roundhay team is friendly and enjoys socialising together outside of work. We regularly participate in team activities such as walks, Easter egg decorating, and film nights with popcorn! We also have the support of our neighbouring White Cross practices in Guiseley and Eccleshill, and the Central Support Team is only 20 minutes away. Our clients are wonderful, with many being insured and part of our Complete Wellness Plan.
This part-time role offers 24.5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle. While you'll be expected to take part in the Saturday rota, there are no out-of-hours responsibilities.
