Job Description

Introduction

Our Client is a corporately owned practice located in Mossley Hill, Liverpool. The clinic is part of a supportive team environment where wellbeing, work/life balance, and professional growth are highly valued.

Working Hours / Rota

This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays or 1 in 8 full weekends at Alder 24 Hour.

Role Description

The role includes full utilisation of nursing skills in surgical, medical, and consulting responsibilities. You’ll support the team in patient care, admissions and discharges, medication dispensing, and nurse-led consults. There’s also the opportunity to participate in schedule 3 procedures and team coordination.

Team Size

You’ll join a close-knit, supportive team led by a passionate Branch Partner, with regular team events and a strong culture of looking out for one another.

Practice Details

The clinic is equipped with a brand new Imotek MyLabX5 ultrasound machine, digital and dental X-rays, broncho/gastroscope, full in-house lab, and a dedicated cat ward. The practice is actively working towards ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation and enjoys a high standard of clinical care with a strong dental caseload.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse who values teamwork, high clinical standards, and delivering compassionate care. Experience in nurse consults and schedule 3 activities, as well as a supportive and proactive approach to practice efficiency, is preferred.
