Job Description

A progressive, independent six-branch mixed practice on the tranquil western edge of the Lake District is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly team of 27 vets and 20 nurses.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team, working with a varied small animal caseload and fully utilising their nursing skills in a hands-on role. The practice fosters a collaborative environment and values high-quality clinical care.

Role Details

Full-time preferred (38 hours over 4 days)

Part-time considered for the right applicant

Salary: £25,000–£31,000, dependent on experience and role

Location near the Lake District National Park, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts

On-call Rota

1 full weekend every 8 weeks

1 weeknight on call every 4 weeks

3 Saturday-only shifts per year

RVN on-site until 10:30pm daily

Branch location to be discussed at interview.
