Are you a passionate RVN looking to take the next step in your clinical career? Scarsdale Veterinary Group is seeking a Procedure Nurse to join our dedicated team at Scarsdale Vets at Pride Veterinary Referrals in Derby.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll support high-quality veterinary care across multiple hospital areas. From anaesthesia and inpatient care to assisting with procedures, diagnostics, and imaging, you'll be a key part of our patient journey. You'll also have the opportunity to perform Schedule 3 procedures under veterinary direction, broadening your clinical skills and autonomy. Work with advanced diagnostic tools including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and lab diagnostics, gaining valuable hands-on experience daily.
Additionally, you'll support hospital operations, contributing to stock control, equipment maintenance, and team workflows. We strongly encourage CPD and will support your ongoing development with training.
Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art hospital includes 13 consultation rooms, 7 wards, 5 theatres, an imaging suite with CT, MRI, digital X-ray, ultrasound rooms, endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool, treadmills, and dedicated chemo treatment rooms.

Qualified RVN with at least one year of post-registration experience preferred. Confident working independently and demonstrating strong nursing protocols. Experience in advanced imaging is a plus, but full training will be provided. Additional qualifications are welcome but not essential.
This is a full-time role, averaging 38 hours per week, across four weekdays with a one-in-six weekend rota. Shifts vary between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm, with occasional twilight shifts from 3 pm to 12 am.
