We welcome both full time and part time applicants across our branches and will provide a development plan to support newly qualified nurses taking on greater responsibilities.

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for the job and values that align with our own. We would consider Full Timeand Part Time roles at either branch and are able to provide support and a career development plan for someone who has just qualified or is looking for more responsibility and challenges.

Cedar Vets operates across Alton, Alresford, Bordon, and a small branch surgery in Four Marks. Our locations offer the best of both worlds: set on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with the New Forest and South Coast nearby, and excellent train links to London from our main practices.

We are proud to work from modern, purpose-built facilities. Alresford was completed in 2019, while Alton moved to a significantly larger, purpose-built site in October 2022, with capacity for future growth. These well-equipped environments allow our teams to focus on delivering high-quality care while enjoying a supportive, forward-thinking workplace.

It is impossible to offer high standards without the right equipment, and so we are continually investing in equipment such as:

An established senior team of Vets and Nurses work hard to ensure that colleagues meet their development targets within a supportive environment, already set-up as a VNTC and Surrey Vet School IMR provider.

Key Terms:

Pay Range – starting at £13.99 per hour up to Senior Nurse with additional responsibilities £15.74 per hour

TOIL for overtime in the week. Time and a half for Saturday hours (approx. 1 in 6 Saturday –TBC)

25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays with an extra day off on your Birthday

CPD allowance: 3 days and £300

Generous staff discount scheme for own pets (meds at cost, 75% on fees)
