Job summary

Hook Vets, part of IVC Evidensia, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Hook practice on a part-time basis. The role covers theatre nursing, inpatient care, nurse consultations, and lab work, with a 30-hour week (Wed, Thu, Fri) and 1 in 4 Saturdays until 1:00pm.

We value collaboration with our clinical team and are committed to high standards of patient and client care in a supportive environment. Applicants must be RCVS-registered and have clinical practice experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hook Vetson a Part-time basis.

Based in the lovely village of Hook, our RCVS-accredited practice offers the perfect balance of countryside charm, with excellent transport links to London and the South Coast. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. The role also includes working 1 in 4 Saturdays, finishing at 1:00pm.

This is a hands-on nursing role covering all aspects of practice life, including:

• Theatre nursing
• Inpatient care
• Nurse consultations
• Laboratory work
• Supporting our clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
