Walton Lodge Vets - Ware is seeking an enthusiastic Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. You will provide overnight nursing care for hospitalised patients and work with the clinical team to ensure high standards of care.

RCVS registration required; experience in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing; excellent communication and organisation; opportunities for development through our Nurse Academy.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Walton Lodge Vets, Ware. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN who enjoys working independently while remaining part of a supportive practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care around the clock.

Practice Highlights

• Joining 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
• Well-equipped with up-to-date facilities, including dental x-ray, ultrasound and orthopaedic theatre, allowing us to deliver a high standard of care and carry out a wide range of procedures in-house

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• Night shift pattern covering 26 hours every other week
• Monday to Thursday 7 pm - 7:30 am

General Responsibilities

As our Night RVN, you will play a vital role in providing overnight care for hospitalised patients, monitoring recovery cases and ensuring the highest standards of nursing care throughout the night. You'll work closely with our veterinary team to deliver outstanding care and maintain patient wellbeing during out-of-hours periods.
